Ross Hunter
From leaving full time education I left mainland England to start a career in the Channel Islands working for my father’s family business J Hunter & Sons, we subcontracted to the largest stone masonry company on the island Granite Le Pelley. We undertook 3 major projects which took the duration of 2 years working to a very high standard of workmanship alongside some of the most established stone masons around the globe, picking up skills & trade secrets on a daily basis knowing that I would take these skills to further me & my career in the stone masonry industry.
On my arrival to mainland England I was offered a full time job with Anthony Ives Masonry where I furthered my skills in stone masonry providing a new clientele with some of the world’s most beautiful natural stone. We specialised in granite worktops, marble vanity tops, headstones, wall & floor cladding. After 3 years I was confident to say I had mastered most sklls in and out f the workshop and wanting to find new challenges.
I left Anthony Ives Masonry for Marble & Granite Inspirations where I undertook a new roll in my career however still with itchy feet and knowing I wanted to venture out on my own I was offered to partake once more with my father’s business where I undertook new challenges in the landscaping & swimming pool trade. Gathering all my experience and skills I set up Hunter Masonry to bring a fresh & unique business to the south of England. Now well established I feel that Hunter Masonry is a one off business that can cater for every contract & ???needs with the highest of standards, a total professional outfit which can bring many skills & ??? to all those that require us.
